Stanley Kleinman


Stanley Kleinman, also known as Yisroel Kleinman, is a revered Rabbi, educator, and community leader in Brooklyn, NY. He began his educational tenure in 1983 at Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway, NY, nurturing students until 2023.

He currently serves at Lifeprep Education, a role he has held since 2022. Additionally, he has enriched his community as a choir director and an emergency responder trainer for the Hatzalah Volunteer Rescue Squad in Brooklyn since 1988.He has spearheaded several key initiatives significantly impacting education and community development. Among these, the founding of Oorah, the one summer camp, stands out as a significant contribution to youth engagement and community cohesion.

His commitment to educational excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Darchei Torah Teacher of the Year and the Joseph S. and Caroline Gruss Excellent Teachers Award.In his community, he has taken on numerous leadership roles. He served as President of Cong. Agudath Israel of Midwood in 1994 and currently fulfills the role of Gabbai. His leadership extends to the foundational and ongoing coordination of Hatzolah of Richmond County since 1984 and his significant involvement in the Board of Directors and providing Rabbinical Oversight for Hatzolah of Flatbush since 1987.Moreover, he is deeply involved in grief counseling and public speaking, offering support and imparting wisdom to those in need.

He is also an active member of the Alumni Association of Yeshiva of Staten Island and served on the Agudath Israel of America's Va'ad Hanholah from 1996 to 2006.Stanley Kleinman's extensive skills in teaching, administration, public relations, program development, and community outreach, along with his passion for music and spirituality as a Choir Director, make him a central figure in his community. His ongoing commitment to education and community service inspires and positively influences countless lives.
